Coke deal at Walgreens

I guess I missed this deal because we are not soda drinkers.   Not that we never drink soda its just not something we normally buy.   When you buy 6 12 packs of Coke products for $20 you will get a $10 RR.  I bought 6 and used four of my $4 register rewards.   Paid 4 something and got back 10.   It comes out to $1.67 a 12 pack.  Or 14 cents a can.
The kiddo is all set up now for his spring break.  

Free Hunger Games Soundtrack download

As I reported earlier this week you can get a free download for the Hunger Games Soundtrack when you buy your tickets on Fandango.  The wording is a little weird.  I'm not sure if it's the whole album or just one song.  I guess it doesn't much matter to me. It's a freebie for doing what I was going to do in the first place.  Buy my tickets on Fandango for the midnight showing =)

No bake cake balls. Yumm!

You've heard of  Oreo balls but what about cake balls?

1 ½ cups flour

1 cup yellow cake mix

½ cup butter, softened

½ cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon salt

5-6 Tablespoons milk

 sprinkles

Vanilla Almond Bark

Blend butter and sugar in mixer.  Then add flour, cake mix, vanilla, and salt.  Mix well.  Then add milk a little at a time until you have a thick batter that you can roll.  Stir in sprinkles.  Optional.

Roll out into balls.  Place on wax or parchment paper.  Put them in the freezer until they firm up.  

Melt your almond bark and then dip your balls.  

I then used green sprinkles since it is close to St Patrick's Day.  

Store in the fridge.

Shop N Save trip 3/15

I didn't actually use alot of coupons today.  Highly unusual for me but Shop N Save had some good deals along with a coupon for $4 off $15 in Heinz products hence the Ore Ida potatoes/ fries.
What I got...
12 Tostinos pizzas  used 4 $1/4 coupons   Plus when you buy 10 participating items it automatically takes $5 off at register.

5 Ore Ida fries   Used $4 off $15 in ad coupon
Wonder Wheat bread  on sale $2
2 lemons
4 ears corn
2 Old Recipe Ice Cream  $2.88 each
2 Milk Bite Bars $2.98 each   There is a coupon out there for these but I already used mine.
6 Yogurts  Used $.40 off 6
Got $10 off $50 automatically
Used $5 off $50 from entertainment book.

Spent $26.31
Saved $44.84
Also received a $1 off next order catalina from Ore Ida.
AND... the tostinos have codes for free Redbox rentals...  so up to 12 free movies.  That's worth at least $15.

The kid has spring break next week and he can bake these Tostino's pizzas like a pro.  :) He also loves ice cream...  upon further thought.. I think I did  have a coupon for these...   Dang it.
So even without a lot of coupons or work you can save a lot of money at Shop N Save with no coupon Thursday.
